Black Cat’s Solace | Miraculous [Illustrated Audiofic]

Note: This was moved from my main channel [Lyradaisical].

Nothing new here. This is simply an updated version from my 2017 video. I cleaned up the pictures a bit, added a few things to the story and re-recorded the audio.

I decided to try using YouTube’s captioning system to do the subtitles instead of hard-subbing them into the video. I think I may prefer hard-subbing them since YouTube’s subtitles are ugly and hard to work with lol. Let me know what you guys think.

This is a Witch!AU that I started October 2016 for Halloween and never finished until October of 2017. Yes, it took me that long. Cleaning up these images for this version actually took me a few more weeks of my time.

FAQs:

Q. What software do you use?
A. Simon’s Cat has been made using a variety of animation software over the years. Originally in Adobe Flash. Then TV Paint (and still on occasions) and most recently using CelAction.

Q. Why does it take so long to make each Simon’s Cat film?
A. Animation is a slow process and Simon’s Cat films pay particular attention to observed, real life cat behaviour. Historically the films were traditionally animated frame by frame. More recently we use CelAction which has sped up the process but still requires a lot of care and attention. Each film takes approximately 6-9 weeks to make, depending on complexity, number of characters and special effects.
